Composites
What are composites?
Composites - also called composite materials - are materials that consist of two or more interconnected materials, for instance reinforced concrete or composite panels (plywood). The composite material has different material properties than the individual components. Further, the material properties and geometry of the components are important – in particular, size effects often play a role. The individual components of a composite can also be composites themselves.
Excellent release properties
The technical release paperBRANOperl has proven itself as a production aid in the composites industry, for example for the thermal compression of laminates.BRANOperl is an on one or both sides siliconized release paper from the company BRANOpac. BRANOperl has good heat resistance and is available in a bleached or unbleached version. Due to its excellent release properties, it reliably prevents strips or sheets of material from sticking together or to other materials.
