Transfer Printing

What is transfer printing?

Transfer printing, also known as sublimation printing, is a printing process in which the print motif is first printed in reverse on transfer paper or a transfer film. The motif is then transferred to the fabric to be printed by applying constant pressure and heat using a transfer press. The main advantages of transfer printing are that it is environmentally friendly, a large number of materials can be printed in photo quality and the costs are comparatively low.
